Terms of Service
These terms cover use of Social HR, the HR platform operated by Social Team. By opening a workspace, signing in, or using the marketing site, you agree to them. How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
The service
Social HR gives each customer organization its own workspace on a subdomain of socialhr.online. The workspace can include attendance, leave, payroll, people records, projects, chat, and file storage, according to the plan Social HR enables. Features that are not on the plan stay unavailable. A demo workspace, when one is offered, is for evaluation and may be reset.
Accounts
The customer is responsible for the people it invites, the permissions it grants, and the accuracy of the records it stores. Administrator accounts should be given only to people who need them. You will keep sign-in credentials private and tell Social HR if you believe an account has been misused. An outside person who opens a shared Storage folder may use only that share.
Customer data
The customer keeps ownership of the employee, payroll, file, and other records it puts into its workspace. Social HR may host, transmit, and process that data only to provide, secure, and support the service. One workspace cannot be used to reach another customer’s data.
Acceptable use
You will not:
- Break the law, or store data you do not have the right to store
- Probe, scan, or overload the service, or attempt to cross into another workspace
- Upload malware, or use Storage, Chat, or Projects to distribute it
- Share a folder, a meeting, or an account with someone who is not meant to have it
- Misrepresent who you are when you sign in, including with Google
Where the customer turns on location checks, face check-in, or desktop activity tracking, the customer is responsible for telling its people and for using those tools lawfully.
Plans, suspension, and ending access
Modules, storage quota, and support follow the customer’s plan. Social HR may suspend a workspace that is unpaid, abused, or a security risk. Suspension blocks sign-in and keeps the data. Social HR may delete a workspace after the customer asks, or after a suspended workspace is closed. Either party may stop using the service; the customer should export records it needs before deletion.
Google sign-in for a shared folder only confirms the email address. Drive and Calendar are connected by Social HR staff to a platform Google account so Storage files and meeting links can work. Those connections follow Google’s terms as well as these terms. Social HR may disconnect them if Google withdraws access or if the connection is misused.
Availability
Social HR is operated with the aim of staying available, and the platform is monitored. Maintenance, provider outages, and failures in Google, hosting, or networks can interrupt a feature. The service is provided as it is offered today, and a particular module can change as the product changes.
Intellectual property
Social HR, its name, logo, and software belong to Social Team or its licensors. These terms do not transfer that ownership. The customer may use the product for its own workforce while its workspace is active. Feedback may be used to improve the product without obligation to the sender.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Social HR and Social Team are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or decisions the customer makes from its own HR records. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for injury caused by negligence where the law does not allow that limit.
Changes and contact
These terms can be updated by publishing a new version on this page. The effective date changes with the text. Continued use of the service after that date is acceptance of the update. Questions can be sent to ops@socialhr.online or through Social Team.
